충남 계룡시가 지역 주민들의 체력 증진과 건강한 여가생활을 위한 핵심 시설로 추진해온 ‘국민체육센터’가 11월 본격 운영을 앞두고 막바지 공사에 박차를 가하고 있다. 

시는 현재 건축공사를 모두 마무리한 가운데, 체육 장비 설치와 인테리어 등 부대공정을 순조롭게 진행 중이다.
