대전시교육청은 지난 3일부터 4일까지 이틀간 교육청 본청과 대전치유의 숲에서 관내 교육복지사를 대상으로 직무연수를 실시했다고 4일 밝혔다.

이번 연수는 교육복지사의 전문성을 높이고, 업무로 인한 정서적 소진을 회복하기 위한 이중 목적 프로그램으로 마련됐다. 특히 교육 취약계층 학생의 지원 역량을 높이기 위한 사례관리 중심의 실무 교육과 산림 치유를 활용한 스트레스 완화 프로그램이 병행돼 참가자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

전문성 향상 과정에서는 박상용 영진사이버대학교 교수가 사례관리 실천방법과 교육복지사의 역할을 중심으로 강의했다. 또한 김민경 삶과그린연구소 소장은 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 실무 교육을 통해 문서 작성, 상담, 사례관리 등 학교 현장에서 바로 적용할 수 있는 실전 위주의 실습을 진행했다.

정서회복 프로그램은 대전시의 지원을 받아 ‘대전치유의 숲’에서 운영됐다. 맨발 걷기, 숲속 스트레칭, 마음챙김 명상 등의 산림 치유 활동을 통해 교육복지사들의 심신 안정을 돕는 시간이 마련됐다.

김현임 대전시교육청 교육복지안전과장은 “급변하는 교육환경 속에서 어려움에 놓인 학생들을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해서는 교육복지사들의 직무역량과 정신 건강이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “이번 연수를 통해 교육복지사들이 실무 능력을 키우고 마음의 여유도 되찾는 계기가 되었길 바란다”고 말했다.
