12일부터 201·273·991·272번 노선 변경… 

막차 연장·배차 간격 조정 등 시민 편의도 강화

세종시가 시민의 교통 편의 향상과 안전한 버스 운행 환경 조성을 위해 오는 12일부터 시내버스 4개 노선에 대한 조정안을 시행한다.

조정 대상은 201번, 273번, 991번, 272번 등 총 4개 노선이다. 이들 노선은 그동안 운행 중 불편사항이나 안전 우려, 비효율적인 동선 등의 문제가 지속적으로 제기돼 왔다.

특히 201번과 273번 노선은 중앙 간선급행버스(BRT) 전용차로 운영에 따라 어진교차로에서의 유턴이 불가능해 사고 위험이 꾸준히 지적돼왔다. 이에 따라 시는 201번 노선을 어진동 방향으로 우회하고, 273번은 중소벤처기업부 경유로 노선을 변경해 해당 구간 유턴을 완전히 없앴다.

장거리 노선으로 운전자 피로 누적 문제가 제기돼 온 991번 노선도 운행 효율성을 높였다. 기존 소정면 대곡리에서 국책연구단지까지 이어지는 코스를 일부 조정해, 남세종로 대신 한누리대로를 경유하도록 바꾸고, 운행시간을 약 10분 단축시켰다.

출퇴근 수요가 높은 3·4생활권 주민들의 교통 접근성을 고려한 272번 노선도 재편됐다. 새로운 노선은 달빛로와 다정중앙로를 따라 주요 주거 밀집지역을 경유해 1·2생활권과 수변상가, 주요 공공기관 간의 연결성을 대폭 강화한다.
