대전 동구 대동 행정복지센터(대동장 이지현)는 3일, 대동 지역 주민과 전입자들을 위한 실용 중심의 안내 지도인 ‘대동여지도(大洞輿地圖)’ 제작을 완료하고 배포에 돌입한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 지도는 단순한 지리 정보에서 벗어나 주민 눈높이에 맞춘 생활 안내서로, 정주 여건과 공동체 기반 정보까지 촘촘히 반영한 점이 특징이다.

이지현 대동장은 “이번 안내 지도가 주민들의 지역 이해도를 높이고 공동체 소속감을 키우는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 2년 주기로 대동여지도를 제작해 지역 변화와 소통의 기반으로 활용하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번에 제작된 ‘대동여지도’는 기존의 관광 특화 지도와는 성격이 다르다. 

주민들의 일상 동선을 고려해 ‘1(사)1(로)1(포) 나눔’ 참여기관 및 천사가게, 대동역과 관내 학교, 300세대 이상 아파트, 대동종합복지관, 행정복지센터 등 필수 공공시설 등을 보기 쉬운 일러스트로 구현했다. 

특히 지역 주민들이 자주 이용하는 생활 인프라와 도시철도 2호선 공사 구간, 대동2구역 및 4·8구역 등의 재개발 현황까지 함께 수록해 실질적 편의를 더했다.

이번 지도는 전입자 안내 자료를 비롯해 각종 자생단체 회의나 지역 행사 시에도 활용될 예정이며, 디지털 접근성을 높이기 위해 전자책(e-book) 형태로도 제작이 추진되고 있다. 

행정복지센터는 지도를 통해 주민 간 정보 공유가 원활해지고, 신규 전입자가 지역사회에 빠르게 적응할 수 있는 발판이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
