대전시교육청이 지역 주도형 교육 혁신의 실현을 위한 본격적인 움직임에 나섰다. 

시교육청은 지난달 30일 ‘2025년 제1차 대전교육발전특구 실무추진단 회의’를 열고, 상반기 사업 성과를 점검하는 동시에 하반기 실행 전략을 심도 있게 논의했다고 2일 밝혔다.

이날 회의는 대전교육발전특구 사업이 2차 연도에 접어들며 현장 중심의 실질적인 변화로 이어지기 위한 실천 전략에 초점을 맞췄다. 회의 안건은 '2025년 상반기 주요 추진실적 보고', '하반기 중점 추진과제 공유', '성과관리 방안 논의' 등 총 4가지로 구성됐다.

대전교육발전특구 실무추진단은 대전시교육청 혁신정책과장이 단장을 맡고 있으며, 과제별·분야별 담당 실무자 총 24명으로 조직돼 있다. 추진단은 특구 사업의 핵심 정책 발굴부터 부서 간 협업 시스템 구축, 학교 현장과의 연계 방안 수립, 성과관리 및 우수 사례 확산까지 전반적인 실행 구조를 이끄는 핵심 기구다.

대전시교육청이 중점적으로 추진하는 주요 정책과제는 '초·중급 숙련기술 인재 육성', '지역 연계 교육 및 ‘늘봄’ 체계 구축', '지역 특성을 반영한 교육개혁', '실행력 있는 추진체계 마련' 등이다. 이번 회의에서는 이러한 과제들을 실제 단위 학교 및 지역사회와 어떻게 유기적으로 연결할 것인지에 대한 실무적 논의가 활발히 오갔다.
