대전시가 대한민국을 넘어 세계 양자산업의 허브로 도약하기 위한 발걸음을 재촉하고 있는 가운데, 대전시는 6월 24일부터 26일까지 서울 양재동 aT센터에서 열리는 국내 최대 규모의 양자기술 행사 ‘퀀텀 코리아 2025’에 참가해, 양자산업 선도도시로서의 전략적 입지와 미래 비전을 집중적으로 홍보한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에서 대전시는 대전테크노파크와 함께 전시관을 운영하며, 양자기술 인프라, 산학연 협력체계, 국제 공동연구 사례 등을 선보인다. 특히 ‘국가 양자클러스터 유치 최적지’로서의 강점을 국내외 전문가와 기업 관계자들에게 적극 홍보할 계획이다.

올해로 3회째를 맞는 ‘퀀텀 코리아’는 과학기술정보통신부가 주최하고, 국내외 70여 개 연구기관과 기업이 참여하는 글로벌 양자 기술 축제다. 특히 이번 행사는 유엔이 지정한 ‘세계 양자과학기술의 해’를 기념해 ‘100년의 양자, 산업을 깨우다(100 Years of Quantum, Awakening Industry)’라는 주제로 개최된다.
