충남의 유망 스타트업들이 글로벌 투자 유치의 문을 두드리기 시작했다. 충청남도는 23일 천안 충남창업마루 나비에서 ‘미국 투자자 초청 충남 스타트업 투자 교류회’를 열고, 지역 스타트업과 미국 벤처캐피탈 간의 본격적인 네트워크 구축에 나섰다.

이번 교류회는 충남도와 해외 투자자 간의 지속 가능한 협력체계를 마련하고, 도내 스타트업의 세계시장 진출 기반을 다지기 위해 기획됐다. 행사에는 김태흠 충남지사를 비롯해 미국 투자자, 스타트업 관계자, 투자 발표 기업 등 100여 명이 참석해 현장의 열기를 더했다.

미국 현지에서 참석한 방호열 G6 글로벌 대표를 포함한 VC(벤처캐피탈) 관계자들은 이날 발표에 나선 스타트업들의 성장 가능성과 기술력을 직접 확인했다. 이들은 농식품테크와 제조융합 분야의 대표 기업 8곳의 발표를 청취하며 심층적인 교류 시간을 가졌다.
