충남 당진시가 지역 소상공인들의 금융 애로 해소를 위해 특례보증 자금을 대폭 확대했다. 시는 20일, 하나은행, 충남신용보증재단과 함께 총 336억 원 규모의 소상공인 금융지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결하고 본격적인 지원에 나선다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식은 오성환 당진시장, 함종덕 하나은행 충남북영업본부 지역대표, 조소행 충남신용보증재단 이사장이 참석한 가운데 시청 해나루홀에서 진행됐다. 협약을 통해 세 기관은 자금 조달이 어려운 지역 소상공인들에게 낮은 금리로 대출을 받을 수 있도록 보증 기반을 제공하게 된다.

당진시는 올해 초 13억 원을 출연해 156억 원 규모의 특례보증 자금을 조성했으나, 대출 수요 급증으로 불과 넉 달 만에 전액 소진됐다. 

이에 시는 추가로 12억 원을 출연하기로 결정했고, 이 중 3억 원은 하나은행과의 매칭 방식으로 각각 출연함으로써 총 6억 원이 충남신용보증재단에 새롭게 출연된다. 이 자금은 보증 확대를 통해 총 72억 원 규모의 대출로 이어질 전망이다.

이번 추가 출연으로 당진시의 2025년 전체 특례보증 지원 규모는 336억 원으로 확대되었으며, 이는 지난해보다 약 2.6배 증가한 수치다. 충남도 내에서는 두 번째로 높은 출연 실적이다.
