충남 금산군농업기술센터가 지역 농업의 디지털 전환과 재배 효율성 강화를 위해 스마트팜 선도농가를 직접 찾아가는 현장 중심 컨설팅을 진행했다.

센터는 지난 19일 제원·추부·남일면에 위치한 딸기 및 잎들깨 재배 선도농가 4곳을 방문해, 작물 생육 환경 개선과 생산성 향상을 위한 ‘스마트팜 맞춤형 컨설팅’을 실시했다.

이번 컨설팅은 스마트팜을 운영 중인 농가들이 실질적으로 겪는 현장의 문제점을 청취하고, 외부 전문가의 자문을 통해 현실적인 해결방안을 모색하는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 

특히 최근 기온 상승에 따라 재배 환경 관리에 어려움을 겪는 농가가 많아, 고온기 환경제어 방법, 병해충 대응 전략, 생육 단계별 영양관리 등 농가의 수요에 부합하는 핵심 주제들이 집중적으로 다뤄졌다.

컨설팅에는 스마트팜 기술 분야의 외부 전문가들이 참여해, 스마트팜 환경제어에 대한 설명과 함께 각 농가별 시설 상태를 점검했다. 아울러 농가들과의 밀도 높은 질의응답을 통해 개별 농장 여건에 맞는 실천 가능한 조치들을 제안했다.

금산군농업기술센터 관계자는 “이번 프로그램 참여 농가들의 긍정적인 반응이 이어졌다”며 “컨설팅을 통해 관내 스마트팜 농가의 기술 역량이 향상되고 생산성과 품질 개선에도 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다. 

이어 “스마트 농업의 기반이 확산하고 농가 애로사항을 해결할 수 있도록 지속적인 지원에 나서겠다”고 덧붙였다.

금산군은 이번 컨설팅을 시작으로, 스마트농업 전환에 앞장서고 있는 농가를 대상으로 한 정기적인 기술 지원과 교육 프로그램을 연계해 지역 농업의 지속가능한 성장 기반을 다져나갈 방침이다.
