태안군이 지난 19일 남면의 한 종교시설에서 '2025년 재난대비 안전충남훈련'을 실시하며 군민 안전 확보에 총력을 기울였다. 

군과 충남도, 태안·서산·당진소방서, 119 특수대응단, 국립공원공단, 태안경찰서, 한국전력공사, KT, 태안발전본부, 태안의용소방대, 군부대 등 14개 기관·단체 관계자 및 지역 주민 220여 명이 참여한 이번 훈련은 실전과 같은 상황을 가정하여 진행되었다.

이번 훈련은 '재난 및 안전관리 기본법'에 따른 상시 훈련으로, 산불 및 지진 발생으로 인한 시설 붕괴와 다수 사상자 발생 상황을 가정했다. 상황 전파 및 초기 대응부터 비상 대응, 수습 및 복구, 상황 종료 및 피해 상황 보고 순으로 체계적인 훈련이 이루어졌다.

훈련에는 지휘차, 펌프차, 구급차, 드론, 굴삭기 등 32대의 장비가 동원되었으며, 유관기관 간 신속한 정보 공유를 위해 재난안전통신망(PS-LTE)이 전 과정에 활용되었다. 특히 지역 주민들이 직접 참여하여 훈련의 실효성을 높였으며, 효율적인 재난 대응 체계를 구축하고 실전과 같은 훈련을 펼쳐 좋은 반응을 얻었다.

군은 이번 안전충남훈련이 각 기관의 재난 대응 체계 미비점을 보완하고 안전 문화를 확산하는 데 크게 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다. 앞으로도 관계기관과의 협조 체계를 더욱 강화하여 실질적인 재난 대응 역량을 키워나갈 방침이다.

태안군 관계자는 "보여주기식 훈련을 탈피해 각 기관이 능동적으로 참여하는 훈련을 통해 실제 재난 발생 시 체계적인 대응이 가능할 것"이라며, "이번 훈련에서 부족한 부분을 면밀히 살펴 보완하고 개선해 나가는 등 안전한 태안을 만드는 데 지속적으로 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
