국립공주대학교 산학협력단이 수산자원 관리의 고도화와 효율적인 활용을 위해 국내 주요 수산 관련 기관들과 손을 맞잡았다.

공주대학교 산학협력단은 5월 16일 산학연구관 4층 회의실에서 한국수산자원공단, 한국수산회, 충남보령근해안강망협회, 더소스코리아, 보고푸드 등 총 6개 기관이 참여한 가운데 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고, 수산업의 지속 가능성과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 공동 협력 체계를 본격 가동한다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약식은 김송자 산학협력단장(연구처장)을 비롯해 한국수산자원공단 권오승 본부장, 공주대 수산생명의학과 김석렬 부교수 등 관련 기관 주요 인사들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

협약의 주요 내용에는 저이용·미이용 수산물의 고부가가치화 방안 마련 ,지속가능한 수산자원 관리 모델 구축 ,수산물 품질관리 및 유통 활성화 ,충남보령 지역 자조금 사업 지원 등 실질적 성과 창출을 위한 협력과제가 포함됐다.

김송자 산학협력단장은 “공주대가 구축한 산학연 네트워크와 각 기관의 전문 인프라가 결합된다면, 단순한 기술 교류를 넘어 지역과 국가 수산업 발전의 시너지 효과를 만들어낼 수 있을 것”이라고 기대감을 드러냈다.
