대전시가 지역 공공기관과 손잡고 기업의 혁신기술 실증을 지원하며, 도시문제 해결과 공공서비스 개선에 본격적으로 나선다.

이를 위해 대전시는 5월 16일, 유성구에 위치한 ㈜퀀텀캣 회의실에서 ‘2025년 공공수요 기반 문제해결형 실증지원 사업’의 시작을 알리는 공공 실증기관 협의회를 열고, 실증과제 수행을 위한 협력체계를 구축했다.

이날 행사에는 선정된 4개 기업과 실증 대상 공공기관의 담당자, 한국수자원공사 K-테스트베드 관계자, 사업 운영기관 등 30여 명이 참석해 실증계획을 공유하고 실질적 협업 방안을 논의했다.

이번 사업은 대전시가 지역 공공기관의 실제 수요를 반영해 도시문제를 해결할 수 있는 기술을 민간에서 발굴하고, 실증을 통해 상용화로 연결할 수 있도록 지원하는 프로그램이다. 대전시는 지난 1월부터 실증 수요조사 및 전문가 평가를 거쳐 과제를 도출하고, 공모를 통해 해결 기술을 보유한 기업을 선발했다.

선정된 기업들은 연말까지 최대 1억 5천만 원의 실증비 지원 ,공공기관과의 현장 실증 기회 ,공공조달 진입 컨설팅 ,국내외 전시회 참여 ,실증확인서 발급 등 다각적인 지원을 받는다.

특히 올해부터는 한국수자원공사와 체결한 업무협약을 통해 실증 참여기업이 조달청의 ‘혁신 시제품’ 지정을 신청할 경우, K-테스트베드와 동등한 수준의 성능확인서를 받을 수 있어, 공공조달시장 진입 가능성도 한층 높아졌다.

이번 실증지원 대상으로는 에너지저장장치(ESS)를 활용한 전력 사용 최적화 기술(대전교통공사-스탠다드에너지㈜) ,틸트로터 기반 산악구조·소방용 드론 개발(대전소방본부-㈜나르마) ,탈취설비 활성탄의 수명을 예측하고 연장하는 기술(대전시설관리공단-㈜퀀텀캣) ,대형폐기물 처리 자동화 시스템(대전서구청-㈜아이언닉스) 등 총 4개 과제가 선정됐다.

대전시 관계자는 “이번 실증지원 사업은 공공부문이 기업의 기술력 실험장이 되어주는 방식으로, 민간 기술이 도시 현장의 문제를 해결하는 선순환 구조를 만드는 것이 핵심”이라며, “지속적으로 실증 생태계를 확장해 지역기업의 경쟁력을 높이고, 시민이 체감하는 공공서비스 혁신으로 이어지도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
