대전시가 시정 운영의 전문성과 민생 현장과의 연계를 강화하기 위해 노무, 체육, 문화예술 분야 민간 전문가 3인을 비상임 특별보좌관으로 위촉했다. 

16일, 위촉장을 수여한 대전시는 정책 추진 과정에서 시민 목소리를 보다 직접적으로 반영할 수 있는 자문체계 강화에 나서기 위해 특별보좌관을 위촉하게 됐다고 전했다.

이번에 위촉된 비상임 특보는 김혁중 애경산업 노동조합 위원장(노무 분야) ,박원근 전 대전시 생활체육회 상임부회장(체육 분야) ,이상덕 대전팝스오케스트라 지휘자(문화예술 분야) 등이다. 

이들은 각자의 전문성을 살려 시정 전반에 대한 자문과 정책 제언은 물론, 현장의 민생 목소리를 전달하는 소통 창구 역할을 수행하게 된다.

비상임 특별보좌관 제도는 대전시 조례에 따라 임기 2년의 무보수 명예직으로 운영된다. 대전시는 이를 통해 실질적인 행정 조언뿐 아니라, 다양한 시민 의견을 정책에 녹여내는 통로로 활용할 계획이다.

대전시는 이번 위촉이 전문가 집단의 참여를 통해 시정의 실효성을 높이고, 정책 결정 과정에서 민간의 다양한 시각이 반영될 수 있는 제도적 기반을 마련하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
