충남 금산군이 폐교 부지를 활용한 농촌 활성화 모델 구축에 속도를 내고 있다. 군은 13일 “남일면 마장리 917번지 일대 옛 금남초등학교 부지에 ‘충남형 농촌리브투게더 시범마을’ 조성 사업을 본격 추진한다”고 밝혔다.

이 사업은 1999년 폐교된 금남초의 유휴부지를 활용해 단독주택형 마을을 신설하는 계획으로, 오는 2026년 말까지 총 21세대의 친환경 목조주택이 들어설 예정이다. 해당 건축물은 세대당 전용면적 85㎡ 이하 규모에 침실 3개, 욕실 2개를 갖추며, 각 세대에는 15㎡ 이상 크기의 별도 창고도 마련된다. 전체 사업비는 약 87억 원으로 추산된다.
