대전시가 도시계획의 새로운 방향을 설정하고 민간의 전문성과 현실 감각을 정책에 적극 반영하기 위해, 지역 내 도시계획 엔지니어링 업계와의 소통에 나섰다.

9일 대전시청 대회의실에서는 도시계획 분야 엔지니어링 업체 대표들과 대전시 관계자들이 한자리에 모여, 도시정책의 미래를 함께 고민하는 간담회가 개최됐다. 이날 자리에는 도시주택국장을 비롯한 시 공무원들과 12개 주요 엔지니어링 업체의 대표들이 참석해 다양한 현장 의견을 교환했다.

이번 간담회는 단순한 의견 청취를 넘어, 민관 협력 기반의 정책 전환을 위한 실질적인 논의의 장으로 마련됐다. 시는 현재 추진 중인 7개 핵심 용역 과업의 진행 상황을 공유하며, ‘2040 대전권 광역도시계획’ 수립을 중심으로 도시공간 구조 재편과 지속 가능한 성장 전략 수립을 위한 청사진을 제시했다.

특히 눈길을 끈 부분은 최근 개정된 「대전광역시 지구단위계획 수립지침」에 대한 설명이었다.
