대전시교육청이 조직 전반에 청렴 문화를 정착시키기 위한 일환으로 고위직 공무원과 학교장을 대상으로 한 청렴교육을 실시했다.

9일 대전시교육청은 대전교육과학연구원에서 열린 이번 교육에 교육감을 비롯해 교육장, 직속기관장, 4급(상당) 이상 고위직 공무원, 그리고 대전 관내 공·사립학교장 등 360여 명이 참석했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 조직 내 부당한 권한 행사를 방지하고, 공직자의 책임과 윤리 의식을 강화하는 데 목적을 뒀다. 특히 갑질 행위 근절과 반부패 법령에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위한 교육 내용으로 구성됐다.

강의는 국민권익위원회 소속 청렴교육 전문강사가 맡았으며, 공무원 행동강령, 이해충돌방지법 등 주요 반부패 법령의 핵심 조항들을 실제 사례 중심으로 설명해 참석자들의 공감과 이해를 도왔다.

또한 실무에 바로 적용할 수 있도록 ‘이해충돌방지법 핵심 정리’ 자료를 배포하여, 법령 적용 기준과 직무 관련 준수사항을 현장에서 쉽게 참고할 수 있도록 했다.

설동호 대전시교육감은 “청렴은 시대와 상황을 막론하고 공직자가 반드시 지켜야 할 본질적인 가치”라며 “고위직부터 솔선수범하는 자세로 청렴한 리더십을 실천할 때, 대전교육의 신뢰와 품격도 함께 높아질 것”이라고 강조했다.
