충청남도가 자체 개발한 청년정책 통합 플랫폼 ‘온통청년’이 정부 정책에 공식 반영되며, 지역 주도의 청년정책이 국가 정책의 기준으로 자리 잡는 이정표를 세웠다.

충남도는 9일, 국무조정실이 주관한 제24차 지방자치단체 청년정책책임관 회의에서 ‘온통청년’ 플랫폼의 기능을 전국 단위로 확장하고 고도화하는 방안이 정부 차원에서 수용됐다고 밝혔다.

특히 이번 회의에서는 ‘온통청년’을 통해 수집된 정책 정보를 ‘국민비서’의 알림 기능과 연계해 전국 청년들에게 개인 맞춤형으로 전달하는 시스템이 정부 정책으로 채택됐다. 

이는 기존처럼 청년이 정책 정보를 수동적으로 검색해야 했던 방식에서 벗어나, 필요 정보를 자동으로 제공받는 능동형 정보 전달 체계가 본격 도입된다는 의미다.

앞으로는 ‘2025년에 달라지는 주요 청년정책’과 지역별 청년 대상 행사, 참여 기회 등 다양한 정보가 국민비서 알림을 통해 직접 청년들에게 전해질 예정이다.

또한 충남도는 청년정책의 실시간성과 지역 통합관리를 강화하기 위해, ‘온통청년’에 기초지자체도 아닌 광역지자체가 직접 자료를 입력하고 수정할 수 있는 권한을 확보했다. 이로써 도는 도내 각 시·군의 청년정책 정보를 일괄 수집해 통합적으로 운영할 수 있는 체계를 갖추게 됐다.

충남도 관계자는 “지방이 먼저 시작한 플랫폼이 중앙정책의 모델이 됐다는 점에서 의미가 크다”며 “청년 누구나 시공간 제약 없이 필요한 정보를 받을 수 있는 환경을 만들어가는 데 주력하겠다”고 말했다.

‘온통청년’의 이번 중앙정부 반영은 지역의 정책 실험이 전국 표준으로 확산될 수 있다는 가능성을 보여주는 사례로, 타 지자체의 벤치마킹 움직임도 활발해질 전망이다.
