세종지역 대학 5곳이 라이즈(RISE 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계) 사업을 본격적으로 추진한다.

 

세종시는 8일 시청 집현실에서 ‘2025년 제2차 지방대육성협의회’를 열고  지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업 수행대학으로 고려대(세종캠), 홍익대(세종캠), 한국영상대, 국립한밭대(공동캠퍼스), 충북대(공동캠퍼스) 등 총 5곳을 선정하고 사업비 분배안을 심의·확정했다.

 

앞으로 5개 대학은 약 1년간 충청권역 타 대학·국책연구기관 등과 협력해 지역과의 동반성장 기반 구축, 지역맞춤형 인재 양성을 목표로 140억 원 규모의 라이즈(RISE) 사업을 수행하게 된다.

 

시는 라이즈(RISE) 시행 초기 사업수행 기반 구축을 위해 대학 규모와 2024년 대학재정지원사업 수행 실적 등을 고려, 대학에 총 17억 원을 사업비로 지원하기로 했다.

 

특히 주요 정책 방향과의 연계성이 높은 사업계획을 제출한 고려대와 한국영상대에는 정책인센티브를 추가 배정해 사업 추진 동력을 제공했다.

 

이에 따라 고려대는 공유교육 혁신모델 구축, 인공지능(AI) 기반 스마트보육 플랫폼 개발 사업에 주력하고 한국영상대는 청년 주도의 즐길거리 기획·운영, 한글문화도시 연계 사업을 활발히 할 수 있게 됐다.

 

분야별로 세종시 5+1 미래전략산업 생태계 조성 및 인재 육성을 주도할 혁신선도대학(미래전략산업 주도대학)에는 총 17억 원을 배분했다. 

 

배분에 따라 고려대는 미래전략산업 특화 전문인재 양성을 위해 정보보호, 디지털헬스케어, 미래모빌리티 관련 계약학과를 신설한다.

 

또 홍익대는 디지털헬스케어를 비롯한 5+1 미래전략산업 혁신 클러스터를 구축하고 한국영상대는 방송·영상·미디어와 디지털콘텐츠의 혁신에 나선다.

 

또 5대 핵심단위과제인 ‘한두리캠퍼스’ 구축·운영 20억 원 ,5+1 미래전략산업 특화 전문인재 양성 19억 원 ,지·산·학·국책연구기관 협력 기반 기업육성 생태계 조성 17억 원을 각각 배정했다.

 

이밖에 미래형 성인학습자 아카데미 운영 15억 원 ,한글문화수도 조성 및 전시(MICE) 산업 육성 14억 원이 투입된다.

 

시는 각 대학에 지방대육성협의회 심의 결과를 안내하고 오는 14일부터 열흘간 이의신청 처리 절차를 거쳐 2025년 세종 라이즈(RISE)사업 선정대학과 배정액을 최종 확정할 계획이다.

A total of KRW 1.7 billion was allocated to the Innovation Leading University (Future Strategy Industry Leading University) that will lead the creation of the Sejong City 5+1 future strategic industry ecosystem and talent cultivation by field.

 

According to the allocation, Korea University will establish new contract departments related to information protection, digital healthcare, and future mobility to foster specialized talents in future strategic industries.

 

In addition, Hongik University will establish a 5+1 future strategic industry innovation cluster including digital healthcare, and Korea University of Film Arts will take on innovation in broadcasting, video, media, and digital content.
