바이오·국방·우주항공 융합 이차전지 생태계 구축

대전시가 차세대 에너지 산업의 핵심으로 주목받는 이차전지 분야를 본격적으로 육성한다. 대전시는 최근 ‘첨단 이차전지산업 육성 종합계획’을 발표하며, 대전만의 강점을 살린 중장기 로드맵을 제시했다.

이차전지는 전기차를 비롯해 친환경 에너지, 바이오, 국방, 우주항공 등 다양한 산업과 융합 가능한 기술로, 세계 각국이 기술 주도권을 놓고 경쟁하는 첨단 분야다. 대전시는 국내 최고 수준의 연구개발(R&D) 인프라와 제조·검사 장비 산업의 집적을 강점으로 삼아, 새로운 수요 기반의 기술 개발과 시장 창출에 나선다.

선도기술 확보를 위한 인프라도 단계적으로 조성된다. 시는 반도체 공정을 적용한 마이크로 전고체 배터리 성능평가 및 제조 플랫폼과 산업거점센터를 국비 공모사업과 연계해 2026년부터 2030년까지 구축할 방침이다.

아울러 태양광, 수소에너지, 중이온가속기 등 기존 에너지 자원과의 연계를 통해 ‘대전형 에너지 밸리’와 첨단 이차전지 클러스터를 조성, 신시장을 개척하고 산업 경쟁력을 강화할 전략도 추진 중이다.

대전시는 이번 계획을 통해 2030년까지 선도기업 18개사 상장, 주요기업 매출 2조 3,586억 원 달성, 신규 고용 6,191명, 전문 인력 1,390명 양성을 목표로 잡고 있다.
