대전 동구의회(의장 오관영)가 4월 25일 제3차 본회의를 끝으로 제285회 임시회 일정을 모두 마무리했다. 

이번 임시회는 지난 16일부터 10일간 열리며 조례안 및 동의안 심의는 물론, 주요 구정 현안에 대한 구정질문과 현장 방문 등 적극적인 의정활동이 펼쳐졌다.

이번 회기 중 특히 주목받은 제3차 본회의에서는 대전광역시 동구 청소년지도자 처우 개선 및 지위 향상에 관한 조례안, 대전광역시 동구 사회복지시설 생활자 학대 예방 및 피해자 보호에 관한 조례안 등 총 25건의 안건이 심의·의결됐다. 이는 지역사회 복지와 청소년 정책 강화에 중점을 둔 입법 활동으로 평가된다.

오관영 의장은 폐회사에서 “동료 의원님들께서 바쁜 일정 속에서도 구정질문과 현장 중심의 의정활동에 최선을 다해주셨다”며, “함께 협력해주신 박희조 동구청장님과 공직자 여러분께도 깊이 감사드린다”고 밝혔다.

이어 오 의장은 오는 6월 3일 치러지는 제21대 대통령 선거를 언급하며, “한 표 한 표가 정의롭고 공정한 나라를 만드는 밑거름이 된다. 구민 여러분께서도 반드시 투표에 참여해 주시기를 바란다”고 당부하며, 회기를 마무리했다.

Daejeon Dong-gu Council (Chairman Oh Gwan-young) concluded the 285th extraordinary session schedule with the 3rd plenary session on April 25th.
