최근 비닐하우스를 비롯한 임시 구조물에서 발생하는 화재가 증가함에 따라, 충남 논산시가 시민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위한 선제적 조치에 나선다. 시는 오는 30일 논산소방서, 한국전기안전공사 충남남부지사와 협력해 관내 비닐하우스 밀집 지역을 대상으로 합동 안전점검을 실시할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
