충남 홍성군이 면역력이 약해지는 중장년층의 건강을 지키기 위해 2025년 대상포진 무료 예방접종 사업을 확대 실시한다. 특히 올해부터는 기초생활수급자 및 차상위 계층까지 접종 대상이 넓어져 보다 많은 군민이 혜택을 받을 수 있게 됐다.

홍성군 보건소는 오는 5월 1일부터 만 65세 이상 주민 중 대상포진 백신을 맞지 않은 사람을 대상으로 무료 접종을 시작한다. 

접종 대상은 1960년 12월 31일 이전 출생자 중 1년 이상 홍성군에 주소를 둔 미접종자이며, 이전에 대상포진 예방백신을 접종한 이력이 있다면 지원 대상에서 제외된다.

또한 올해부터는 60세 이상(1965년 12월 31일 이전 출생자) 중 기초생활수급자 및 차상위 계층도 무료 예방접종 대상에 포함됐다. 건강 취약계층의 질병 예방을 위한 의미 있는 변화다.

예방접종을 원하는 군민은 신분증 또는 자격 확인 서류를 지참해 홍성군 보건소, 관할 보건지소, 보건진료소를 방문하면 된다. 보건소는 5월 1일부터 9일까지 집중 접종을 진행하며, 읍면 보건지소 및 진료소의 경우 날짜가 다를 수 있으므로 방문 전 전화 확인이 권장된다.
