충남 예산군이 4월 마지막 주말, 평화의 의미를 되새기며 세대를 아우르는 역사문화축제를 선보인다. 

‘제52회 윤봉길 평화축제’가 오는 26일부터 27일까지 덕산면 충의사 일원에서 개최되어, 윤봉길 의사의 숭고한 정신을 다양한 체험과 함께 만날 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

올해 축제는 “윤봉길, 나는 평화의 길을 택했다”라는 주제로, (사)매헌윤봉길월진회 주관 하에 진행된다. 윤봉길 의사의 생가와 기념관, 저한당, 도중도 등 그의 발자취가 서린 공간들이 문화체험의 무대로 재탄생하며 관람객을 맞이한다.

가족 단위 방문객을 위해 한층 업그레이드된 이번 축제는 ‘참여형 체험’을 중심으로 구성됐다. 인디언 텐트와 같은 이색 쉼터가 설치되고, 아이들과 함께할 수 있는 다양한 활동 프로그램이 마련돼 교육적이면서도 즐거운 시간을 선사할 예정이다.

주목할 만한 프로그램으로는 윤봉길 의사의 삶을 따라가는 여섯 단계 미션 투어가 있으며, 지역 로컬크리에이터 그룹 ‘고로컬’과 협업한 도슨트 해설 프로그램도 새롭게 선보인다. 이 외에도 어린이 그리기대회, 청소년 시낭송대회, 버블쇼, 명인 줄타기 공연 등 남녀노소 모두를 위한 문화 콘텐츠가 준비되어 있다.

특별 이벤트로는 4월 26일 오후 2시 충의사 주차장에서 KBS ‘전국노래자랑’ 녹화가 진행된다. 지역 주민은 물론 관광객 누구나 참여할 수 있는 이번 녹화는 축제 분위기를 한층 고조시키며 대중적 흥미까지 더할 것으로 기대된다.
