더불어민주당이 4일, 이지혜 목원대학교 경찰행정학부 특임교수를 상근 부대변인에 임명했다.

중앙당에서 중책을 맡게 된 이지혜 부대변인은 "12.3 비상계엄 이후 122일, 국민 덕분에 긴 겨울을 걷어내고, 다시 희망을 말할 수 있게 되었다"는 말로 윤 전 대통령 탄핵에 대한 소회를 전하고 "새로운 대한민국을 만들어갈 중요한 시기에 더불어민주당 상근 부대변인으로 임명되었다"면서 "국민의 회복과 성장을 위한 여정에 저도 최선을 다하겠다"고 다짐했다.

이지혜 부대변인은 또 “엄중한 시기, 막중한 책임감을 느낀다"며 “국민과 당의 소통 창구로서 응원봉 역할을 잘 해나가겠다"고 각오를 밝혔다.

윤석열 전 대통령의 파면으로 조기 대선이 확실한 상황에서 당의 입장을 대내외적으로 명확히 전달해야 하는 중책을 맡게 된 이지혜 부대변인은 이화여자대학교(학사), 서울대 행정대학원(정책학 석사), 유니버시티칼리지런던(공공정책학 석사)을 졸업하고, 지난 2017년부터 2023년까지 국회의원 비서관과 보좌관을 지내며 정치에 입문했다.

앞서 이지혜 부대변인은 더불어민주당 대전시당 대전균형발전특별위원장을 지냈고, 총선 도전 경력과 현재 목원대학교 특임교수로 후학을 양성하고 있다.

Previously, Lee Ji-hye served as the chair of the Daejeon Balanced Development Special Committee of the Daejeon City Party of the Democratic Party of Korea, and is currently a special professor at Mokwon University, where she is nurturing future generations.
