대전시의회 산업건설위원회가 25일 대전정보문화산업진흥원과 갑천생태호수공원 조성 현장을 방문하여 사업 진행 상황을 점검하고 관계자들과의 논의를 통해 주요 현안을 살펴보았다.

이번 현장 방문은 대전의 미래 신성장 동력으로 기대되는 정보문화 산업의 발전과 시민 생활에 밀접한 갑천생태공원 조성 사업의 진행 상황을 종합적으로 확인하고, 향후 지원 방안을 모색하기 위해 기획되었다.

첫 번째 방문지인 대전정보문화산업진흥원은 2007년에 설립된 기관으로, 대전 지역의 콘텐츠 및 정보문화 산업 육성과 기업 지원을 주요 임무로 하고 있다. 

위원회는 이곳에서 기관의 운영 현황과 주요 사업에 대한 설명을 듣고, 대전이스포츠경기장 및 대전방산혁신클러스터 창업보육센터 등 주요 시설을 직접 방문하여 관련 산업의 성장 가능성을 점검했다.

이후 방문한 갑천생태호수공원은 대전 서구 도안동과 유성구 원신흥동 일대에 43만 1,244㎡ 규모로 조성되는 대규모 친환경 공원으로, 950억 원의 사업비를 투입하여 2025년 9월 개장을 목표로 하고 있다. 

산업건설위원회는 공원 조성 사업의 원활한 진행을 위해 공사 진행 상황을 점검하고, 조경, 토목, 수처리 시설 등의 시공 상태를 면밀히 살펴보았다. 

특히 출렁다리, 보도교, 커뮤니티센터, 생태센터 등 주요 시설의 조성 계획을 청취하며 시민들에게 쾌적하고 친환경적인 휴식 공간을 제공할 수 있도록 철저한 공사 관리를 당부했다.

또한, 위원회는 공원 개장 후 유지 및 관리 계획을 면밀히 검토하며, 지속적으로 시민들에게 사랑받는 친환경 공간이 될 수 있도록 체계적인 관리 방안을 마련할 것을 강조했다.
