충남 부여군이 심화되는 저출산·고령화 문제 해결을 위해 적극적인 대응에 나섰다. 

박정현 부여군수는 지난 18일 군청에서 진행된 릴레이 캠페인에 참여하며, 인구 감소 및 고령화 문제에 대한 사회적 인식을 개선하고 실효성 있는 정책 추진의 필요성을 강조했다.

현재 부여군은 초고령 사회로 접어들며 심각한 인구 구조 변화에 직면해 있다. 지난해 부여군의 합계출산율은 0.66명으로 충남 평균(0.88명)보다 낮아 도내 최하위를 기록했으며, 65세 이상 인구 비율이 41.3%에 달하는 등 고령화 속도가 빠르게 진행되고 있다.

이에 따라 부여군은 산후조리(원)비 지원, 아이돌봄서비스 본인부담금 50% 지원, 방학 중 돌봄교실 운영 등 출산·육아 지원을 대폭 강화하며 인구 감소 문제 해결에 나서고 있다. 

또한, 출산육아지원금 신규 도입과 함께 공공 돌봄 서비스 확대에도 박차를 가하며, 맞춤형 돌봄 정책을 추진하고 있다.

특히, 돌봄과 교육을 결합한 종합 지원 시설인 '우리아이 동행마루 조성사업'을 적극적으로 추진해 부모들이 안심하고 아이를 키울 수 있는 환경을 조성할 계획이다. 이를 통해 출산율 제고와 양육 부담 완화를 동시에 도모할 방침이다.

박정현 군수는 "부여군이 '아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 환경'을 만들기 위해 다양한 정책을 펼치고 있다"며, "임신·출산 지원, 육아 친화적 환경 조성, 청년 일자리 창출 등 다각적인 노력을 기울이겠다"고 밝혔다.

한편, 박 군수는 다음 릴레이 캠페인 참여자로 최재구 예산군수와 우승희 영암군수를 지목하며 저출산·고령화 문제 해결을 위한 지속적인 관심과 동참을 요청했다.
