최충규 대전 대덕구청장이 18일 ‘인구문제 인식 개선 릴레이 캠페인’에 참여했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 보건복지부와 한국보건인재원이 주관하며, 저출산과 고령화에 따른 인구구조 변화로 인한 문제를 알리고 사회적 인식을 개선하기 위해 마련된 활동이다. 

지방자치단체, 공공기관, 기업 등 각계각층이 참여하고 있다.

최충규 구청장은 양수조 대전동부교육지원청 교육장의 지목을 받아 캠페인에 동참하게 되었다. 대덕구는 인구변화에 대응하기 위해 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있다. 

주요 사업으로는 △공동 육아 지원을 위한 육아복합마더센터 조성 △산모 건강회복비 지원 △스마트 어린이 건강체험관 운영 등이 있으며, 이는 출산·육아 친화적 환경 조성을 위한 노력의 일환이다.

또한, 대덕구는 전국 최초 ‘어르신 돌봄건강학교’ 운영 ,대전 최초 ‘방문의료지원센터’ 조성 ,노인 친화형 맞춤 임대주택 ‘늘봄채’ 도입 등 고령인구의 건강한 삶을 지원하기 위한 다양한 사업을 시행하고 있다.

최충규 구청장은 “저출생·고령화로 인한 인구 감소 및 인구구조의 변화는 국가와 지역사회가 함께 고민해야 할 문제”라며, “아이 낳고 키우기 좋은, 살던 곳에서 거주할 수 있는 고령 친화적인 대덕구를 조성하기 위한 정책을 마련하고, 나아가 인구문제 인식 개선 및 구조 변화에도 적극 대응하겠다”라고 말했다.

한편, 최 구청장은 다음 캠페인 참여자로 김종화 대덕소방서장과 김미경 육아복합마더센터장을 지목했다.

Daejeon Daedeok-gu Mayor Choi Chung-gyu announced on the 18th that he participated in the ‘Population Issue Awareness Improvement Relay Campaign’.

Meanwhile, Mayor Choi nominated Daedeok Fire Station Chief Kim Jong-hwa and Childcare Complex Mother Center Director Kim Mi-kyung as the next campaign participants.
