세종시의회 행정복지위원회가 12일,  제1차 상임위원회 회의를 열고, 총 11건의 조례안, 동의안, 결의안을 심사했다. 

이날 회의에서는 위원회 소관의 2025년 행정사무감사 계획도 승인되었다.

위원회는 심사한 조례안 7건, 동의안 3건, 결의안 1건을 모두 원안대로 가결했다. 특히, 2025년 제98회 정례회(5월 20일 ~ 6월 23일) 기간 중 실시될 행정사무감사 계획도 원안으로 통과되었다.

김현미 위원장은 청소년 도박 중독이 심각한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있는 상황을 언급하며, 지역사회 안전망 강화를 위한 '세종특별자치시 청소년 도박중독 예방 및 지원에 관한 조례안'을 대표발의했다. 이 조례안은 청소년의 도박 중독 예방과 지원을 위한 체계적인 방안을 마련하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.

이순열 위원은 '세종특별자치시 박물관 및 미술관 진흥 조례안'을 대표발의하여, 관내 박물관과 미술관의 육성과 지원을 위한 법적 근거를 마련하고, 문화·예술·학문의 발전을 도모하고 시민의 문화 향유를 증진시키겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.

또한, 상병헌 위원은 세종시에 희귀·난치성 질환 치료와 연구를 위한 센터 건립을 촉구하는 '국가 유전자·세포치료 센터 건립 촉구 결의안'을 대표발의하여, 지역 내 의료 연구 환경을 개선하고자 했다.

김현미 위원장은 회의 종료 시, “오늘 다룬 안건들은 지역 사회와 관계 기관의 협력이 필수적이다. 지속적인 정책적, 행정적 협력이 이루어져야 시민의 삶의 질이 향상되고 지역 발전이 가능하다”며, 의결된 안건들이 실질적인 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 행정복지위원회가 최선을 다할 것이라고 강조했다.

이번 회의에서 심사된 안건들은 오는 19일 제3차 본회의에서 최종 의결될 예정이다.

Sejong City Council Administrative Welfare Committee Holds 1st Standing Committee Meeting and Deliberates 11 Agenda Items

Commissioner Lee Soon-yeol proposed the “Ordinance on the Promotion of Museums and Art Galleries in Sejong Special Self-Governing City” to establish a legal basis for the promotion and support of museums and art galleries in the city, and to promote the development of culture, art, and academia and enhance citizens’ enjoyment of culture.

In addition, Commissioner Sang Byeong-heon proposed the “Resolution Urging the Establishment of a National Gene and Cell Therapy Center” to urge the establishment of a center for the treatment and research of rare and incurable diseases in Sejong City, in order to improve the medical research environment in the region.

At the end of the meeting, Chairperson Kim Hyun-mi emphasized, “The agenda items discussed today require cooperation with the local community and related organizations. Only through continuous policy and administrative cooperation can citizens’ quality of life be improved and regional development be possible,” and emphasized that the Administrative Welfare Committee will do its best to ensure that the agenda items passed lead to tangible changes.

The agenda items reviewed at this meeting are scheduled to be finalized at the third plenary session on the 19th.
