더불어민주당 대전광역시당이 12일 대전시청 북문 앞에서 기자회견을 열고, 내란 수괴로 지목된 윤 대통령의 즉각적인 파면을 촉구하는 성명을 발표했다.

또한, 헌법재판소가 탄핵 심판을 지연시키는 경우, 제2의 내란 사태가 발생할 가능성을 배제할 수 없다고 주장했다. 

이들은 윤 대통령의 복귀가 민주주의의 붕괴를 초래할 수 있으며, 극단주의 세력에게 폭력과 불법을 정당화할 명분을 제공해서는 안 된다고 강조했다.

더불어민주당 대전시당은 "윤석열 즉각 파면만이 민주주의를 지키는 유일한 길"이라며, 헌법재판소가 외압에 굴하지 않고 정의와 헌법에 따라 윤석열을 심판할 것을 촉구했다. 

이들은 "대한민국의 진짜 주인은 국민"이라며, 상식과 정의가 승리하는 나라를 만들기 위해 모든 노력을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.
