대전 유성구가 12일 지역 내 민간 대형 건축사업장 13개소의 현장대리인과 간담회를 개최했다. 이번 간담회는 지역 건설업체의 참여 기회를 확대하고 건설 경기를 활성화하기 위해 마련되었다.

간담회에서는 건축사업장의 애로사항을 청취하고 민·관 차원의 해결 방안을 모색하였다. 

유성구는 하도급 공사 금액의 70% 이상을 대전 소재 업체가 참여하도록 하고, 건축사업장은 지역업체가 보유한 건설 신기술 및 특허 사용에 협력하기로 의견을 모았다. 유성구는 사업 추진 과정에서 발생하는 현안 해결을 지원하기로 했다.

유성구는 관내 13개 민간 대형 건축사업장의 총 하도급 발주액 1조 6500억 원 중 1조 1500억 원을 지역 업체가 수주할 것으로 예상하며, 이를 통해 약 1만 9000명의 일자리 창출 효과를 기대하고 있다.

정용래 유성구청장은 “원자재 수급 불안과 공사비 상승 등으로 건설시장의 불황이 지속되고 있어 지역 건설업체가 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다”며, “이번 간담회를 통해 모은 의견을 현장에 반영해 지역 건설 경기가 활성화되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 유성구는 2020년부터 연면적 5000㎡ 이상 민간 대형 건축사업장에 대해 사업계획 승인 단계부터 지역 건설업체 하도급 비율 70% 이상을 권장하고 있으며, 착공 신고 시 지역 건설산업 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결해 지역 하도급 참여율을 높이는데 주력하고 있다.
