대전의 기업들이 한국거래소에 연이어 상장하면서 시가총액이 급증하고 있어 일류 경제도시로서의 성장 가능성을 보여주고 있다. 

8일, 대전테크노파크에 따르면, 2월 기준 대전 지역 상장기업의 시가총액은 61조 7,956억원에 달하며, 누적 상장기업 수는 65개사로 증가했다.

대전 상장기업의 시가총액은 지난해 12월 52조 3,055억원에서 올해 1월 60조원을 넘어섰고, 2월에는 61조원을 돌파하며 단 2개월 만에 9조 4,901억원이 증가하는 성과를 올렸다. 

시가총액 상위 3개 기업은 알테오젠(20조 6,343억원), 레인보우로보틱스(6조 6,444억원), 리가켐바이오(4조 271억원)로, 이들은 대전 기업들이 코스닥 거래 시장에서 주도적인 위치를 차지하고 있음을 보여준다. 

현재 코스닥 시총 1위 기업인 알테오젠을 비롯해 레인보우로보틱스(5위), 리가켐바이오(7위), 펩트론(17위) 등 4개 기업이 시총 상위 20위권 내에 자리 잡고 있다.

대전의 상장기업 수는 지난해 같은 기간 대비 10개 기업 증가했으며, 올해 2월에는 2개 기업이 한국거래소에 신규 상장하면서 총 65개사로 늘어났다. 이로 인해 대전은 6대 광역시 중 인천(94개), 부산(82개)에 이어 세 번째로 많은 상장기업을 보유한 도시가 되었다.

에르코스 농업회사법인은 영유아 식품을 기반으로 대체식품, 고령화 친화식품, 식물 기반 식품을 제조 및 판매하는 푸드테크 기업으로, 자체 브랜드 ‘루솔’을 통해 안정적인 매출을 올리고 있다.
