충남 태안군이 ‘2025 태안 방문의 해’ 운영에 돌입한 1월, 방문객 수가 크게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 

군은 한국관광공사가 운영하는 ‘한국관광 데이터랩’의 분석 결과, 올해 1월 태안을 찾은 방문객 수가 97만 9107명으로 집계됐다고 밝혔다. 

이는 지난해 같은 기간 86만 5371명 대비 13.1%(11만여 명) 증가한 수치이다.

가장 많은 방문객이 찾은 인기관광지 10곳은 △꽃지 해수욕장 △리솜 태안 △만리포 해수욕장 △안면도 수산시장 △신진항 △백사장항 △안면도자연휴양림 △몽산포 해수욕장 △솔라고CC △천리포수목원으로 조사됐다.

겨울방학을 맞은 가족 단위 여행객도 증가하는 등 ‘2025 태안 방문의 해’가 순조로운 출발을 알리고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다. 

태안은 서해안 치유관광도시로 도약하기 위해 ‘대한민국의 정원, 태안’을 슬로건으로 정하고, 1월 14일 선포식을 시작으로 본격적인 운영에 나섰다. 

캠핑과 트레킹 등 지역 특성을 살린 치유관광을 중심으로 태안의 매력을 알리는 데 집중하고 있다.

올해 하반기 개관을 앞둔 태안 해양치유센터를 포함한 다양한 관광자원과 축제, 스포츠 대회를 ‘태안 방문의 해’와 연계하여 관광객 만족도를 극대화할 계획이다. 

군 관계자는 “태안은 꽃과 바다의 도시로, 봄부터 꽃축제 등 다양한 이벤트가 개최되면 관광객 수는 더욱 늘어날 것”이라며, “사계절 관광 콘텐츠 발굴과 맞춤형 홍보 전략을 통해 태안의 매력을 널리 알리도록 노력하겠다”고 강조했다.

Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, reported a significant increase in the number of visitors in January, when the ‘2025 Taean Visit Year’ began.

The county announced that according to the analysis results of the ‘Korea Tourism Data Lab’ operated by the Korea Tourism Organization, the number of visitors to Taean in January this year was 979,107.

A county official emphasized, “Taean is a city of flowers and the sea, and if various events such as flower festivals are held starting in spring, the number of tourists will increase even more,” and “We will strive to widely promote Taean’s charms through the discovery of tourism content for all four seasons and customized promotional strategies.”
