태안군이 중장기 지역발전을 위해 미래 먹거리 산업 추진에 본격 나선다. 

군은 13일 브리핑에서 지속 가능한 발전을 위해 올해 세 가지 방향을 설정했다: 제2단계 균형발전 사업 추진, 해양레저 및 드론 등 미래 성장산업 육성, 지속 가능한 도시 발전과 지역 활성화에 최선을 다 한다는 방침이다.

내년부터 2030년까지 추진되는 충청남도의 제2단계 균형발전 사업에는 773억 원의 사업비가 확보되었으며, 주요 사업으로는 만리포니아 해양레저 관광 거점도시 조성, 국내 최초의 샌드뮤지엄, 반려동물 서비스 기반 조성, 태안형 드론 혁신 클러스터 등이 포함된다. 

만리포니아 해양레저 관광 거점도시는 300억 원을 들여 복합 해양레저시설을 조성하며, 샌드뮤지엄은 180억 원으로 모래조각 전용 전시관을 건립할 예정이다.

또한, 이원면에는 반려견 놀이터와 수영장 등을 갖춘 반려동물 서비스 기반이 마련되고, 남면 태안군UV랜드에서는 드론 혁신 클러스터가 조성된다. 

해양레저와 드론 산업 육성을 위해 만리포니아 해양레저 안전교육센터와 해양안전드론센터도 건립된다.

전진봉 전략사업담당관은 “미래 성장동력 확보를 위한 핵심 사업들을 추진해 지역 발전의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하겠다”고 강조하며, 군민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 다양한 산업 발굴을 통해 미래산업 선도도시로 도약할 것이라고 밝혔다. 

태안군의 이러한 노력은 지역 발전에 큰 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.

Taean-gun is moving full-scale into promoting future food industries for mid- to long-term regional development.

A budget of 77.3 billion won has been secured for the second-stage balanced development project in Chungcheongnam-do, which will be promoted from next year to 2030, and major projects include the creation of a Manriponia marine leisure tourism hub city, the first sand museum in Korea, the creation of a pet service base, and a Taean-type drone innovation cluster.

The Manriponia marine leisure tourism hub city will spend 30 billion won to create a complex marine leisure facility, and the Sand Museum will spend 18 billion won to build an exhibition hall dedicated to sand sculptures.

In addition, a pet service base with a dog park and swimming pool will be established in Iwon-myeon, and a drone innovation cluster will be created in Taean-gun UV Land in Nammyeon.

The Manriponia Marine Leisure Safety Education Center and Marine Safety Drone Center will also be established to foster marine leisure and drone industries.

Jeon Jin-bong, the strategic business officer, emphasized, “We will present a new paradigm for regional development by promoting key projects to secure future growth engines,” and announced that the county will leap forward as a leading city in future industries by discovering various industries to improve the quality of life of the county residents.

These efforts by Taean-gun are expected to greatly contribute to regional development.
