대전시설관리공단이 환경부의 2023년 상생협력 실증 프로그램 지원 사업에 선정된 후, 2023년 11월 준공된 바이오가스 정제설비를 1년간 운영해온 성과를 공개했다.

상생협력 실증 프로그램은 녹색기술의 개발과 보급을 촉진하고, 친환경 경영을 지원하기 위해 설계된 사업으로, 녹색기술을 보유한 공급기업과 환경 문제 해결을 필요로 하는 수요기관을 연결하는 역할을 한다. 

대전시설관리공단은 이 프로그램을 통해 총 13억3000만원 규모의 바이오가스 정제설비를 도입하게 되었다.

이 설비는 소화조에서 발생하는 바이오가스에 포함된 황화수소와 대기오염물질을 효과적으로 제거하는 기능을 갖추고 있다. 

지난 1년간의 운영 결과, 대기오염물질 제거 효율이 99%에 달하며, 황화수소의 평균 배출농도는 5ppm 미만으로 유지되어 배출 허용 기준을 준수하는 성과를 거두었다.

이상태 이사장은 “이번 지원 사업을 통해 대전하수처리장에서 운영하는 대기오염물질 배출시설의 안정성을 우선적으로 확보하고, ESG 경영에 기여할 수 있도록 철저히 운영하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

그는 또한 “탄소중립과 온실가스 감축, 환경 문제 해결 등 다양한 분야에서 지속 가능한 발전을 위해 최선을 다할 것”이라고 강조했다.

Daejeon Facility Management Corporation announced the results of operating a biogas purification facility for one year after being selected for the Ministry of Environment's 2023 Mutual Cooperation Demonstration Program Support Project. The facility was completed in November 2023.

The Mutual Cooperation Demonstration Program is a project designed to promote the development and distribution of green technologies and support eco-friendly management, and serves as a link between suppliers with green technologies and demand organizations that need to solve environmental problems.

Through this program, Daejeon Facility Management Corporation introduced a biogas purification facility worth a total of 1.33 billion won.

This facility has the function of effectively removing hydrogen sulfide and air pollutants contained in biogas generated from the digester.
