세종시가 총 550억 원 규모의 ‘2025년 중소기업 육성자금’ 지원에 나선다. 

이번 지원은 관내 중소기업의 경영 안정과 신규 투자 촉진을 위한 정책자금으로, 기업이 은행으로부터 장기 저리 융자를 받을 수 있도록 돕는 제도이다.

세종시는 금융기관과의 협약을 통해 융자금에 대한 이자를 일부 지원하며, 올해 지원하는 자금 규모는 육성자금 270억 원과 경영안정자금 280억 원 등 총 550억 원에 달한다.

육성자금의 세부 규모와 대출금리는 창업자금: 60억 원, 금리 3.75%, 경쟁력강화자금: 100억 원, 금리 3.75%, 혁신형자금: 100억 원, 금리 3.25%,  기업회생자금: 10억 원, 금리 2.75% 등이다.

이는 지난해와 비교해 육성자금 4종의 금리를 각각 0.25%p 인하한 수준이다. 경영안정자금은 시가 은행을 통해 2～3%p의 이자를 보전해 주는 방식으로 지원되며, 여기에는 티몬·위메프 사태 등 전자상거래로 피해를 본 기업을 위한 ‘긴급경영안정자금’ 20억 원이 포함된다.

경영안정자금 이자 보전은 기본 2%p이며, 여성기업, 장애인 기업, 녹색기업(환경부 지정) 등 우대기업은 3%p의 이자 보전 혜택을 받는다. 올해부터는 3%p의 이자 보전을 받는 우대기업에 여성친화 인증기업과 15년 이상 세종에 본사를 두고 있는 기업이 추가되었다.

중소기업육성자금 신청은 10일부터 자금 소진 전까지 연중 상시로 가능하며, 지원대상은 신청일 현재 세종시에 사업장을 둔 제조업, 건설업, 지식서비스산업 등 중소기업이다. 기업당 최대 3억 원에서 20억 원까지 융자 지원이 이루어진다.
