대전시는 올해 새롭게 변경된 국민기초생활보장 제도에 따라 저소득 및 취약계층을 위한 한층 두터운 복지서비스를 시행한다고 밝혔다.

보건복지부에서 매년 고시하는 기준중위소득이 4인 가구 기준 지난해 대비 6.42% 인상됨에 따라, 기준중위소득 32% 이하에 지급되는 생계급여도 인상된다. 

4인 가구 기준 생계급여는 지난해 183만 3572원에서 최대 195만 1287원으로, 1인 가구 기준은 71만 3102원에서 최대 76만 5444원으로 각각 인상된다.

또한, 생계·의료급여 부양의무자 기준이 연 소득 1억 또는 일반재산 9억 초과에서 연 소득 1억 3000만 원 또는 일반재산 12억 초과로 완화되었으며, 일반재산 환산율 적용 시 자동차 기준도 배기량 1600cc·차량 가액 200만 원 미만에서 배기량 2000cc·차량 가액 500만 원 미만으로 완화되었다.

노인의 경제활동 장려를 위해 근로·사업소득 공제 대상을 75세 이상에서 65세 이상으로 확대하는 조치도 시행된다.

대전시는 올해 생계급여 수급자가 1175가구 2272명(3.2%) 증가할 것으로 예상하고, 생계급여 예산을 지난해 대비 459억 원 증액한 3,224억 원으로 편성하여 지원할 계획이다.
