충남 천안시는 대내외적 경제 불확실성이 지속됨에 따라 민생 안정과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 상반기에 예산 신속 집행을 추진한다고 10일 밝혔다.

천안시에서는 선제적이고 적극적인 재정지출을 위해 ‘신속집행 추진단’을 구성·운영하여 집행상황을 점검하고 관리할 계획이다. 

특히, 30억 원 이상 대규모 투자사업에 대해서는 집중 관리하며, 선금 및 기성금 지급, 지방계약 한시 특례 등을 적극 활용하여 상반기에 최대한의 집행을 이끌어낼 방침이다.

또한, 청년월세 한시 특별지원, 노인 일자리 및 사회활동 지원 확대 등 취약계층 지원을 위한 예산을 상반기에 집행할 예정이며, 천안사랑카드 발행, 소상공인 특례보증 지원, 전통시장 및 상점가 지원 등 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣기 위한 다양한 사업도 추진할 계획이다.

박상돈 천안시장은 “소비심리가 위축되고 경기가 어려운 상황 속에서 시민들에게 도움이 될 수 있는 관련 예산의 집행을 신속하게 추진해 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있도록 하겠다”고 강조했다.
