충남교육청이 2025학년도 초등학교 예비소집 결과, 취학 대상 1만 4795명 중 1만 4168명(95.8%)이 응소했다고 10일 밝혔다. 

이는 지난해 참여율 96.1%(대상자 1만 6,146명, 응소자 1만 5,515명)와 유사한 수치로, 안정적인 응소율을 유지하고 있다.

그러나 응소하지 않은 학생 중 입학 유예나 부모와의 해외 출국 등 정당한 사유가 있는 경우를 제외하고, 26명의 소재가 확인되지 않고 있는 상황이다.

충남교육청은 "예비소집에 응소하지 않은 학생에 대해 3월 4일 입학일까지 유선 연락과 가정 방문 등 소재 확인 절차를 진행할 계획"이라며, "일부는 경찰에 수사 의뢰를 한 상태로, 지속적으로 아동의 소재를 파악하고 관리할 계획"이라고 밝혔다. 

이번 예비소집 결과는 초등학교 입학을 앞둔 아동들의 교육적 지원과 안전한 관리에 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 예정이다.
