대전 서구가 행정안전부 주관 2024년 정보공개 종합평가에서 작년에 이어 올해도 최우수 기관에 선정되며, 지난 2019년부터 5년간 최우수 지자체의 영예를 안았다.

이번 ‘2024년 정보공개 종합평가’는 전국 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 총 554개 기관을 대상으로 진행되었으며, 사전정보, 원문공개, 정보공개 청구처리, 고객관리 등 4개 분야 11개 지표를 기준으로 평가가 이루어졌다.

서구는 100점 만점에 96.09점을 기록하며 최우수 자치구로 선정되었고, 특히 11개 지표 중 원문공개의 충실성, 사전정보공표 등록건수, 사전정보공표 충실성, 고객 수요분석 실적에서 만점을 받았다. 

나머지 7개 지표에서도 높은 점수를 얻어 전반적인 정보공개 수준이 우수하다는 평가를 받았다. 서구는 다양한 사전정보를 발굴하고 12가지로 체계적으로 분류하여 국민의 편의를 고려해 공개하고 있다는 점에서도 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.

서철모 청장은 “정보공개 종합평가에서 최우수 지자체로 선정됐다는 것은 구정 운영의 투명함을 입증하는 결과”라며, “앞으로도 구민의 알권리를 충실히 보장하고 고품질의 행정정보를 제공함으로써 신뢰받는 구정을 만들어 가도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daejeon Seo-gu was selected as the best agency in the 2024 Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for the second year in a row, and has been honored as the best local government for five years since 2019.

This '2024 Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation' was conducted on a total of 554 agencies including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions nationwide, and the evaluation was conducted based on 11 indicators in 4 areas including advance information, original text disclosure, information disclosure request processing, and customer management.

Seo-gu was selected as the best autonomous district with 96.09 points out of 100, and in particular, it received full marks in the faithfulness of original text disclosure, number of advance information disclosure registrations, faithfulness of advance information disclosure, and customer demand analysis performance among the 11 indicators.

It also received high scores in the remaining 7 indicators, and was evaluated as having an excellent overall level of information disclosure.
