김태흠 충남도지사는 6일 도청 문예회관에서 열린 을사년 시무식에서 ‘응변창신(應變創新)’의 자세로 힘쎈충남답게 초지일관하며 나아가자고 강조했다. 이날 시무식에는 전 직원이 참석하여 새해의 포부를 다짐했다.

김 지사는 신년사에서 “무안 제주항공 여객기 사고 희생자와 유가족 여러분께 깊은 애도와 위로를 표한다”며 “충남도는 희생자 지원과 사고 수습에 모든 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다. 이는 사고에 대한 도의 책임감과 지원 의지를 나타내는 발언으로, 도민의 안전과 복지를 최우선으로 하겠다는 의지를 드러냈다.
