조국혁신당 대전시당이 지난 3일, 새해 첫 일정을 대전현충원 참배로 시작하며 순국선열과 호국영령에 대한 경의를 표했다. 

이날 행사에는 황운하 위원장을 비롯한 장진섭 사무처장 등 주요 당직자 30여 명이 참석했다. 참배 후, 이들은 대전시청에 마련된 제주항공 참사 합동분향소를 방문해 애도의 뜻을 전했다.

황운하 위원장은 대전시청/시의회 출입기자실에서 열린 간담회에서 “2025년 지방선거를 통해 양당 중심의 정치를 넘어서는 3당 체제, ‘천하삼분지계’를 실현하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다. 

그는 “양당제의 문제를 극복하고 다당제를 정착시키는 데 조국혁신당이 앞장설 것”이라며, “지방선거에서 시장, 구청장, 시구의원 후보를 모두 출마시켜 전체 의석 30%를 확보하겠다”고 강조했다. 

이를 통해 더불어민주당과 국민의힘과 어깨를 나란히 하는 제3당으로 자리 잡겠다는 의지를 드러냈다.

조국혁신당 대전시당은 조직 강화를 위해 수석부위원장(정기현), 여성위원회(장숙), 청년위원회(신상명) 등 12명의 상설위원장과 20명의 운영위원 임명을 완료하며 조직 정비를 마쳤다. 

또한, 정치·경제·법조 등 다양한 분야에서 새로운 인재를 발굴하고 영입하고 있으며, 최근 유지곤(벤처기업인)과 문수연(변호사)을 대변인으로 임명하는 등 당의 외연 확장에 주력하고 있다.

황 위원장은 “2025년 2월까지 5개 구 지역위원회 출범을 완료하고, 4월 대전시의원 유성구 제2선거구 보궐선거에 문수연 대변인을 후보로 출마시킬 예정”이라며, 주민 중심 정책을 통해 지역민의 지지기반을 확대해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.
