박정현 부여군수가 지혜와 변화를 상징하는 ‘푸른 뱀의 해’를 맞아 부여군의 미래를 위한 비전을 담은 신년사를 2일 발표했다. 

박 군수는 군민들이 지난 한 해 동안 보여준 노력과 회복력에 감사를 전하며, 지역 경제를 활성화하고 주민 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 구체적인 계획들을 밝혔다.

우선, 경제 활력과 양질의 일자리 창출을 위해 ▲제2차 일반산업단지 조성 ▲친환경 비건 섬유기업 유치 등의 사업을 추진하여 지속 가능한 경제 구조를 확립하고, ▲굿뜨래 브랜드 경쟁력 강화 ▲계절근로자 숙소 지원 ▲배수개선 사업 추진 등 농업분야에서도 안정성과 지속 가능성을 높여 나갈 수 있는 정책들을 수립·적용할 예정이다. 

또한, 백제의 역사와 문화를 활용한 체류형 관광도시로의 도약을 위해 ▲부소산성, 정림사지, 궁남지를 축으로 특권적 공간 확장 ▲성왕로 한옥회랑 조성 ▲1,400년 전 백제무역항 재현 등 다양한 프로젝트를 추진하겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.
