충남교육청(교육감 김지철)은 지난 12월 23일부터 31일까지 6일간 직업교육 혁신지구 사업에 참여하는 도내 직업계고등학교 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 인재 양성을 위한 심화 교육을 진행했다고 2일 밝혔다. 

이번 교육은 공주대학교, 백석대학교, 세한대학교, 한국기술교육대학교에서 실시되었다.

직업교육 혁신지구 사업은 충청남도교육청과 지방자치단체가 협력하여 지역 기반의 직업교육 혁신체계를 구축하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이 사업은 직업계고 학생들이 졸업 후 기업에서의 취업(선취업)과 대학에서의 후학습을 통해 선순환적으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하며, 지역 내 정주를 촉진하는 것을 주요 목적으로 한다.

이번 심화 교육은 천안지구와 당진지구 학생들을 중심으로 참여가 이뤄졌으며, 지역 산업 맞춤형 기술을 실습하고 경험할 기회를 제공함으로써 학생들의 취업 경쟁력을 강화하는 데 중점을 두었다.

천안지구에서는 천안제일고, 천안공업고, 병천고, 성환고, 천안상고, 천안여자상업고 등 6개 학교에서 총 163명의 학생이 참여했으며, 당진지구에서는 당진정보고와 합덕제철고의 학생 15명이 함께했다. 

교육 과정은 스마트 기계 운용 및 제작 모델링(자동차 모빌리티), 호텔리어 관광 서비스 실무, 반도체 직무(품질 및 생산 전문가 양성), 철강 산업 실습 등 다양한 분야로 구성되었다. 

학생들은 각 과정에서 현장 중심의 실습을 통해 실제 산업 환경을 체험하며 기술 역량을 높이는 기회를 가졌다.

충남교육청 미래인재과 오동규 과장은 “우리 교육청은 학생들이 지역 산업과 연계된 기술을 익히고, 미래 산업의 주역으로 성장할 수 있도록 실질적이고 혁신적인 교육 환경을 제공하기 위해 노력하고 있다”며 “이번 교육이 학생들에게 취업 경쟁력을 높이고 지역 사회와 산업에 기여할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

Chungnam Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol) announced on the 2nd that it conducted intensive training for talent development for second-year students of vocational high schools in the province participating in the vocational education innovation district project from December 23rd to 31st for 6 days.

This training was conducted at Kongju National University, Baekseok University, Sehan University, and Korea Polytechnic University.

The vocational education innovation district project aims to establish a regional-based vocational education innovation system through cooperation between the Chungnam Office of Education and local governments. This intensive training was mainly conducted with students from Cheonan and Dangjin districts, and focused on strengthening students’ employment competitiveness by providing opportunities to practice and experience technologies tailored to local industries.

In the Cheonan area, a total of 163 students from 6 schools including Cheonan Jeil High School, Cheonan Industrial High School, Byeongcheon High School, Seonghwan High School, Cheonan Commercial High School, and Cheonan Girls’ Commercial High School participated, and in the Dangjin area, 15 students from Dangjin Information High School and Hapdeok Iron and Steel High School participated.

The curriculum consisted of various fields such as smart machine operation and production modeling (automobile mobility), hotelier tourism service practice, semiconductor job (quality and production expert training), and steel industry practice.

Students had the opportunity to experience the actual industrial environment and improve their technical skills through field-centered practice in each course.

Oh Dong-gyu, head of the Future Talent Division of the Chungnam Office of Education, said, “Our office of education is striving to provide a practical and innovative educational environment so that students can learn technologies related to local industries and grow into key players in future industries,” and added, “I hope that this education will be an opportunity for students to increase their employment competitiveness and contribute to the local community and industry.”
