박범인 금산군수는 2일 군청 상황실에서 열린 2025년 을사년 시무식에서 "금산군민들의 삶의 질을 높이고, 세계로 나아가야 한다는 초심을 잃지 않겠다"며 "도전정신을 바탕으로 금산의 행복과 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

박 군수는 지난해 금산군이 최악의 수해를 겪었지만, 군민과 공직자들이 합심해 이를 극복하고 내실 있는 성장을 이루며 '세계인삼수도'로서의 위상을 높이는 데 성공했다고 평가했다. 

이어 "아름다운 금산을 더욱 빛나게 하자는 의미의 '금상첨화', 금산인삼의 세계시장 진출 확대를 담은 '국품제세', 그리고 소통과 협력을 기반으로 한 군정을 의미하는 '인화충만'을 실현하자"고 강조했다.

또한 박 군수는 지난해 11월 충남도와 대전시가 행정통합을 위한 첫 발을 내디딘 것에 대해 "금산군으로서는 매우 반가운 소식이며, 충남과 대전의 협력으로 지역 발전이 더욱 가속화될 것"이라고 기대를 표했다.
