대전 서구가 12일 구청 갑천누리실에서 희망자립장애인보호작업장(원장 김준호)으로부터 KF94 마스크 1만 장(250만 원 상당)을 기탁받았다고 전했다.

’희망자립장애인보호작업장‘은 보건복지부로부터 중증장애인생산품 생산시설 지정 및 식약처 허가를 받고 KF94 꿈드레 마스크를 직접 생산ㆍ판매하고 있는 장애인 직업재활시설로, 중증장애인의 일자리 제공 및 직업교육을 통한 자립 등을 지원하고 있다.

김준호 원장은 “겨울철 독감과 감기로부터 취약계층이 안전하게 지낼 수 있도록 마스크를 기탁하게 되었고, 장애인들이 생산하는 마스크로 나눔을 실천할 수 있음에 감사하다”라고 전했다.  

서철모 청장은 “동절기 어려운 이웃들의 건강을 위해 몸소 이웃사랑을 실천해 주셔서 감사드린다”라며 “앞으로도 서구 장애인과 취약계층의 복지증진을 위해 힘쓰겠다”라고 말했다.

한편 기탁받은 마스크는 서구 내 장애인복지시설에 전달될 예정이다.

앞서 사회복지법인 사랑우리공동체 예하 희망자립장애인보호작업장은 지난 11월 18일과 12월 4일 대전 동구청과 유성구청에 각각 마스크 1만 장을 기탁했다.
