대전시의회(의장 조원휘)가 13일 제282회 제2차 정례회 제3차 본회의를 열고 총 60건의 안건을 처리하며 올해 마지막 회기를 마쳤다.

이번 본회의에서는 조례안 38건, 동의안 5건, 승인안 5건, 건의안 2건, 의견청취 2건, 예산안 8건 등 다양한 안건이 다뤄졌다. 

특히, 의결된 2025년도 대전시 예산안은 올해 본예산 대비 2.2% 증가한 6조 6771억원으로, 시교육청 예산안은 3.3% 증가한 2조 7971억원으로 책정됐다.

또한, 행정사무감사를 통해 지적된 사항으로는 대전시의회 종합청렴도 평가 등급 상향 방안, 출자·출연기관 평가결과 부진 기관에 대한 철저한 지도 감독, 노인, 장애인, 아동 등 취약계층 복지 및 지원 강화, 공립유치원의 효율적인 운영을 위한 종합계획 수립 및 대책 마련, 유등교 가설교량 착공 지연에 따른 시민 불편 해소 등 총 621건이 집행부에 조치 요구됐다.

이날 본회의에서는 안경자 의원이 대표발의한 ‘초등학교 교사 성비 불균형 해소를 위한 양성평등채용목표제 도입 촉구 건의안’과 송활섭 의원이 대표발의한 ‘충청권 메가시티 실현을 위한 청주국제공항 활성화 전략 마련 촉구 건의안’도 각각 의결됐다.

조원휘 의장은 “국내외적으로 정치·경제 상황이 매우 엄중한 가운데 대전시의회는 시민의 대변자로서 시정에 대한 견제와 협력을 통해 대전 발전을 위해 최선을 다하고 있다”고 강조하며, “앞으로도 대전시의회는 시민의 안전과 민생, 생활정치를 위해 의원 본연의 업무에 충실하겠다”고 밝혔다.
