대전경찰청 형사기동대 마약수사계는 지난 11월 16일 새벽, 충북 옥천의 한 펜션에서 마약을 투약하며 환각 파티를 벌인 베트남 출신 남녀 6명을 검거했다고 11일 밝혔다. 

경찰에 검거된 이들은 마약류 관리법 위반 혐의로 현행범으로 체포되어, 11월 18일 전원 구속된 후 11월 25일 검찰에 송치되었다.

경찰에 따르면, 검거 과정에서 엑스터시 32.5정과 케타민 9.41g, 그리고 마약 판매자금 115만원이 압수되었다. 

이 사건의 주범인 판매책 A씨(33세, 여성)는 젊은 여성들과의 마약 파티를 원하며, 남성들이 마약 구입자금을 부담하는 조건으로 대학생 여성 B씨(22세)와 C씨(19세)를 끌어들인 것으로 알려졌다.

이들은 국내의 베트남 음식점에서 만나 서로 연락하며 지내던 사이로, 가정주부, 식품회사 종업원, 건설현장 근로자, 대학생 등 다양한 직업을 가진 이들이 경기 광주, 경북 경산, 부산 등 여러 지역에서 모여 마약 파티를 벌인 것으로 확인되었다. 

이들 중 3명은 불법체류자로 밝혀졌다.

경찰은 베트남인들이 마약 파티를 한다는 첩보를 입수하고, 현장 조사를 통해 도주로 등을 사전에 파악한 후, 마약 파티가 진행 중인 새벽 시간에 급습하여 이들을 검거했다.

대전경찰청은 2024년 9월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 클럽 등 유흥가 일대에서 마약류 특별 단속을 실시하고 있으며, 마약 범죄의 유혹에 넘어가지 말 것을 경고했다. 

또한, 마약류 범죄는 개인의 건강과 정신을 해칠 뿐만 아니라 사회 안전을 위협하는 중대범죄로, 목격 시 적극적으로 경찰에 신고해 줄 것을 당부했다.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Mobile Criminal Investigation Unit Narcotics Investigation Division announced on the 11th that it had arrested 6 Vietnamese men and women who had a hallucination party while taking drugs at a pension in Okcheon, North Chungcheong Province, in the early morning of November 16th.

Those arrested by the police were arrested on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, and were all detained on November 18th and sent to the prosecution on November 25th.

According to the police, 32.5 ecstasy tablets, 9.41g of ketamine, and 1.15 million won in drug sales funds were confiscated during the arrest process.

Three of them were found to be illegal immigrants.

The police received information that the Vietnamese were holding drug parties, and after investigating the scene, they identified escape routes in advance and made a surprise raid at dawn while the drug parties were in progress, arresting them.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency is conducting a special crackdown on drugs in entertainment districts such as clubs from September 1 to December 31, 2024, and warned people not to fall for the temptation of drug crimes.
