대전 대덕구의회(의장 전석광) 행정복지위원회가 내년도 예산안 심사를 통해 집행부가 편성한 내년 본예산 가운데 총 2억8000만 원을 삭감했다. 

행정복지위원회(이하 행복위, 위원장 유승연)는 11일 제283회 제2차 정례회 2025년도 예산안 심사에서 각급학교교육경비보조사업 1억 원(예산안 4억 원)과 대덕물빛축제 1억8000만 원을 각각 삭감 의결했다.

집행부는 행복위에서 1억8천만 원이 삭감된 대덕물빛축제 내년도 예산을 8억2천만 원으로 편성 의회에 제출했었다.

유승연 위원장은 심사 과정에서 각급학교교육경비보조사업 예산안에 대해 “동서 교육 격차 해소나 아이들을 위해 지원하는 것은 좋은 취지”라면서도 “우리 구가 재정 자립도나 신청사 건립 등 이유로 예산이 많이 삭감되거나 동결된 가운데 타 자치구보다 예산이 과하게 편성되지 않았나 생각이 든다”고 밝혔다. 

대덕물빛축제의 경우 박효서 의원은 “일회성 행사에 이렇게 많은 비용이 투입돼야 하는지 의문”이라면서 “기간을 단축해 임팩트 있게 행사를 진행하는 것도 좋은 방법일 것”이라고 말했다. 

경제도시위원회(위원장 김기흥)도 이날 내년도 예산 심사를 진행해 집행부에서 제출한 예산안을 원안 의결했다. 

이날 소관 상임위 심사를 마친 예산안은 예산결산특별위원회 심사를 거쳐 오는 17일 제4차 본회의에서 확정될 예정이다. 

한편, 대덕구 2025년도 예산안 총규모는 5716억 원으로 올해보다 3.45% 증가했다.
