대전문화재단(대표이사 백춘희)이 운영하는 대전꿈의오케스트라가 오는 12월 14일 오후 3시, 대전예술가의집 누리홀에서 제14회 정기연주회 ‘Over the Symphony’를 개최한다. 

이번 연주회에는 57명의 단원들이 참여하여 다양한 곡들을 선보일 예정이다.

연주 프로그램에는 작곡가 김광민의 ‘학교 가는 길’을 비롯해 클래식 명곡인 ‘헝가리안 댄스’, ‘마술피리 서곡’, ‘운명 교향곡’ 등과 대중에게 친숙한 영화 주제곡 ‘미션 임파서블’이 포함되어 있어, 관객들에게 다채로운 음악적 경험을 제공할 계획이다.

‘Over the Symphony’라는 제목은 단순한 오케스트라 연주를 넘어, 성장하고 변화하는 아이들의 모습을 상징하며, 이들이 꿈을 향해 나아가는 발판이자 미래에 대한 희망을 전달하고자 하는 의미를 담고 있다.

올해 대전꿈의오케스트라는 정기적인 음악 교육을 통해 연주 실력을 향상시키고, 찾아가는 연주회, 음악캠프, 지역 축제 연계 연주회 등 다양한 음악 활동을 통해 활발한 활동을 이어왔다. 

백춘희 대전문화재단 대표이사는 “이번 정기연주회는 오케스트라 단원들이 음악을 통해 성장하며 꿈을 향해 나아가는 모습을 보여주는 의미 있는 무대”라며, “단원들이 그동안 갈고닦은 음악적 역량을 마음껏 발휘하고, 관객들에게 따뜻한 감동과 희망을 전할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 전했다.

이번 공연은 사전예약 없이 무료로 관람할 수 있다.

대전꿈의오케스트라는 지역 아동·청소년에게 예술 활동 참여 기회를 제공하고, 오케스트라 활동을 통해 자존감과 공동체적 인성을 함양하여 건강한 시민으로 성장하도록 지원하는 대전문화재단의 대표 문화예술교육 사업으로 자리잡고 있다.

Daejeon Dream Orchestra to Hold Regular Concert ‘Over the Symphony’

The Daejeon Dream Orchestra, operated by the Daejeon Cultural Foundation (CEO Baek Chun-hee), will hold its 14th regular concert ‘Over the Symphony’ at 3 PM on December 14 at the Nuri Hall of the Daejeon Artists’ House.

57 members will participate in this concert and present a variety of songs.

The performance program includes composer Kim Kwang-min’s ‘On the Way to School’ as well as classical masterpieces ‘Hungarian Dance’, ‘The Magic Flute Overture’, ‘Symphony of Fate’, and the movie theme song ‘Mission Impossible’ familiar to the public, providing a diverse musical experience for the audience.

The title ‘Over the Symphony’ goes beyond a simple orchestra performance and symbolizes the children growing and changing, and carries the meaning of conveying hope for the future and a stepping stone for them to pursue their dreams.

This year, the Daejeon Dream Orchestra has been actively engaged in various musical activities such as improving performance skills through regular music education and visiting concerts, music camps, and concerts in connection with local festivals.

Baek Chun-hee, CEO of the Daejeon Cultural Foundation, said, “This regular concert is a meaningful stage that shows the members of the orchestra growing through music and moving towards their dreams,” and added, “I hope that the members can fully demonstrate the musical abilities they have honed over time and convey warm emotions and hope to the audience.”
