충남 금산군은 지난 9일 금산인삼광장에서 박범인 금산군수를 비롯해 박지흥 금산인삼약초산업진흥원장, 수출업체 관계자 등 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 베트남 수출 선적식을 개최했다고 10일 밝혔다. 

수출 품목은 기존 베트남 시장에 진출했던 '홍삼농축액, 홍삼정과, 키즈홍삼'과 신상품 개발지원사업을 통해 선보인 신제품 '홍삼곡물라떼, 홍삼햇살' 등 약 8만 달러 상당의 제품이다. 

특히 홍삼곡물라떼의 경우, 제42회 금산세계인삼축제 기간 진행된 '전국인삼제품 품평회'에서 최우수상에 선정된 바 있다. 

이번에 선적되는 품목은 총 17만 달러 계약 물량 중 일부이며, 잔여 품목들은 정해진 일정에 따라 순차적으로 선적될 예정이다. 

군은 지난해부터 인삼제품 상품성 개선 사업을 통해 총 29개 업체, 37개 신규 제품을 출시했다.

또한 ▲글로벌 금산애드 프로젝트 7억 원 투입 ▲중국, 미국, 베트남, 프랑스, 캄보디아 등 5개국 대상 홍보영상 제작 및 광고 ▲서포터즈 운영 및 라이브커머스 추진 ▲두바이, 오스트리아, 중국, 태국 전시회를 통한 금산인삼제품 홍보 등 '세계 속의 금산 인삼'으로 나아가기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 

서병희 삼이야 푸드 대표는 "군에서 지원하는 상품성 개선과 신제품 개발 사업을 통해 신제품을 선보이고 바이어를 접촉할 수 있는 전시회 참가 지원으로 수출의 문을 열 수 있었다"고 전했다. 

박범인 군수는 "금산인삼의 베트남 시장 수출은 금산인삼산업에 매우 중요하다"며 "신제품 수출로 베트남에 금산인삼제품을 다양하게 알리고 금산인삼 자체의 신뢰가 더 굳건해지길 바란다"고 말했다.
